After having resisted many years to the wave of OLED screens, Samsung perseveres by launching new generations. With the introduction of QD-Oled technology for M9 and artificial intelligence functions (AI) throughout the range, Korean wants to personalize the experience of its connected customers …
Samsung’s “smart monitor” M9 marks a turning point with its 32-inch 4K HDR 10+ QD-Oled slab, offering bright colors and deep contrast. This technology, which combines “quantum points” at the OLED, promises a fidelity of image rarely affected, ideal for creators, players and image professionals, said Korean in a press release.
AI and personalized experience
The on -board AI automatically optimizes image and sound depending on the content displayed and the environment. Thanks to functions like AI Picture Optimizer and 4K AI Upscaling Pro, the screen adapts its settings to theoretically improve films, games or videoconferences, while improving the sharpness of low resolution content, as long as the screen is connected to a PC for Optimizer.
The M9 also incorporates an anti -reflective system and an exclusive cooling device, called Oled Safeguard+, which protects the slab against marking, a classic fault of OLED screens. The manufacturer also believes that it has treated ergonomics with fine edges, a metal design, an adjustable foot and a discreetly integrated 4K camera, depending on the technical sheet.
High -end, like the price
Samsung relies on versatility with direct access to services like Samsung TV Plus or Gaming Hub, allowing you to play in a console without console. Compatibility with the SmartTHings platform transforms the screen into a control center for connected objects, while the integration of Microsoft 365 allows work without computer!
There remains the question of the price: sold to 1579 Swiss francs, this instructor clearly targets the top of the range and demanding users. His technical sheet highlights this: “With a 165 Hz refresh rate, a response time of 0.03 ms and the NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, the M9 offers amazing performance for ultras fluid images” …
But Samsung has thought of everything! For the less wealthy, he offers the Smart Monitors M8 and M7 series of the LCDs with vertical alignment (VA). They have 32 -inch 4K UHD screens and integrated AI functions. The M7 is also also available in 43 inch version. Finally, Tizen OS Home, with seven years of updates, provides personalized recommendations. Reaction times are around 4ms.
