In March, Arctic introduced the Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 equipped with a new mill, the P12 Pro! The range is now complete, with the successive arrivals of the Liquid Freezer III Pro 240, 280 and 420 models and their A-RGB variants for some in the trade. The Liquid Freezer III Pro are largely based on existing Liquid Freezer III, except for ventilation, which is provided by the new mills P12 for et P14 Pro ! Precisely, be aware that the 120 mm model is now individually available, declined in standard version, argb and PST. For the P14 Pro, we will still have to wait a little bit, but it will not be long.
On the technical level, the P12 for is an evolution that aims to be notable. The rotor has a new design, with a larger hub and pale smaller, now 7 instead of 5, and Arctic even managed to reduce the gap between pale and frame to 0.855 mm. As an indication, it is 0.5 mm on the NF-A12X25 G2 of Noctua. Consequently, static pressure and air flows are significantly improved at equivalent speed compared to existing models. Arctic Also claims to have reworked the bearing, the engine and the associated electronics for a quieter operation and less vibrations. Finally, the assembly (automated) of the whole has been optimized to obtain a more precise level of finish. It is true that the current P12, although attractive by their performance/price ratio, can produce unpleasant noises at certain speeds. Arctic had already tried to solve these problems with the P12 Max, we can therefore consider P12 Pro as the culmination of this work of revision and improvement.

In short, on the technical level, the P12 PRO is higher at any point in existing P12. According to Hwcooling.net, one of the first sites to have been able to test the new mill relatively extensively, given its level of service and its pricing, the P12 Pro should have no trouble becoming very popular like its predecessors! Small flat, it turns out that the hub, because of its size, can sometimes come into contact with the slightly loose filters and cause audible friction. A detail to keep in mind.
But anyway, even if it does not quite happen to equal performance and finishes of higher-end alternatives, like the new NF-A12X25 G2 of Noctua, Arctic’s offer does not seem to be missing, whatever the expected use. Especially since for the launch, Arctic leads a promotional operation to afford the P12 Pro for € 7.99 on its site or € 8.99 on Amazon instead of € 16.49, the P12 Pro A-RGB for € 11.99 or € 12.99 instead of € 19.99 and the € 5 p12 pro PST pack for € 27.49 or € 28.99 instead of € 39.49! At these prices, it still becomes difficult to recommend something else …
