kyiv and London announce an agreement to strengthen their military cooperation
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Monday an agreement reinforcing military cooperation with Ukraine, during a visit to Volodymyr Zelensky in the United Kingdom during which the Ukrainian president had lunch with Charles III.
“I am very proud to announce this afternoon an industrial military co-production agreement, the first of its kind for Ukraine and the United Kingdom”said the British head of government alongside Mr. Zelensky during a meeting with soldiers in the Downing Street gardens, reports France-Presse.
Mr. Starmer praised a “Major advance” To support Ukraine, in war for more than three years with Russia, without giving more details on the content of this agreement. It is part of the security partnership “Historical” Over a hundred years between kyiv and London, signed in January to strengthen cooperation in defense and maritime security.
