Nestlé sees her income drop in the first half

In the first half of 2025, the Calida lingerie manufacturer saw its sales and profitability to retreat. The uncertainty created by American trade policy has weighed on the three brands of the Lucerne company.

Of the first six of the year, Calida’s turnover, corrected for exchange effects, has registered at 101.7 million francs, decreasing over a year of 7.1%, said on Thursday in a statement of SURSEE. Strong uncertainties on the markets and a gloomy consumption climate explain this result.

The adjusted operating result (EBIT) decreased by 1.3% to slip into the red, to -1.3 million francs. Net profit set up at 1.5 million, which represents an increase of 0.3%.

All the group’s brands, namely Calida, Aubade and Cosabella, were struggling, with sales down.

The results presented miss the check check in the consensus established by the analysts consulted by the AWP agency. The latter tapped on a turnover of 108.8 million francs and an adjusted Ebit of 2.1 million. Only net profit, estimated at 1.5 million, complies with expectations.

Despite a difficult market, management tables a solid operating result for the whole of 2025, at the same level as the previous year, and an acceleration of growth.
