An Algerian teenager aged 17 years died Friday in the early morning of a crime at Heerbrugg station (SG). He received stabs. The emergency services could only note the death of this asylum applicant housed at the Federal Center of Alststätten (SG).
(Keystone-ATS) Cantonal police St-Galloise was alerted shortly after 3:45 am that a person was lying in blood at Heerbrugg station, she said. Shortly after, a police patrol found the teenager extended on the platform with injuries suffered with stabbing. The emergency doctor immediately dispatched on the spot could only note his death.
“The situation found on the spot clearly showed that the young man had been killed by one (or) unknown,” writes the cantonal police. The public prosecutor has opened an investigation and research to find the alleged murderer (s).
Curlled at the arrival of the police, the crime location was made accessible again shortly after 9:00 a.m., a St-Galloise police spokesman tells Keystone-ATS. The scope of the perimeter did not hinder rail traffic or the traffic of travelers at the station.
