In May 2023, her daughter Fabienne Houde-Bastian crossed the street around 3 a.m., after an evening with friends, when she was caught up in a vehicle. Not enough to protect it

His relatives are now living with post-traumatic stress syndrome, anxiety and hypervigilance, among other sequelae.

The driver of the Uber as well as his passenger that evening also live with heavy consequences. The woman was plunged into a coma after the collision, while the driver still has a lumbar disc herniated, accompanied by pain similar to electric discharges.
“The psychological consequences are even more invasive. I suffer from flashbacks. […] When I cross a green light, I revisit the accident, I feel trapped by this memory, “he explained.
For his part, VI Trung Ngo apologized to the victims, saying that she was unable to forgive himself. He added that he understood in therapy that he had alcohol dependence at the time.
The performances continue tomorrow. The parties will at this time announce the sentence they intend to submit to the judge.
