4 years suspended prison sentence for the octogenarian driver

One year after the tragedy, an octogenarian was sentenced to 4 years in prison suspended for manslaughter aggravated by the La Rochelle Criminal Court on Tuesday, July 22. On June 5, 2024, this woman of 83 ans had borrowed an avenue limited to 30 km/h, before hitting a group of twelve children rolling by bicycle head on.
