The extraordinary fire that struck the municipalities of Bizanet, Narbonne, Boutenac and Flurre resulted in colossal damage this Sunday, June 29.
According to data from the prefecture communicated at night, the lights have traveled 400 hectares, including 240 for the Municipality of Bizanet alone.
As a security measure, 60 people were evacuated from the iron cross subdivision in this town of the Corbières and safety in the town hall.

On the fire front, 651 firefighters were sent to the field, as well as 4 Canadians, 4 dash and the Dragon 66. Five firefighters, were taken care of after inhalations of smoke. 35 gendarmes are mobilized.
