A plane from the Delta Airlines company was forced to turn around just after taking off from Los Angeles Airport (United States) on Friday. In question? Flames that sprang from the left engine, as shown by these images published on YouTube.

As the BBC specifies, the Delta flight 446 bounded at Atlanta continued its climb quietly when the alert was launched. The aircraft then operated on a 180 degree turn to return to its starting point.
The plane then landed without incident before driving directly to the boarding door. Prevented, the emergency services went to meet it by safety measure, even if the flames observed earlier had then disappeared.
No injuries to deplore
According to information from ABC 7, this Boeing 767 carried 226 passengers and nine crew members. None were injured. According to the airline, travelers were finally able to return to another aircraft to reach their final destination.
An investigation is underway to establish the precise circumstances of this incident, which occurs a few weeks after the crash of a Boeing 787 operated by Air India which had caused nearly 260 people.
