The National Association of Hearing, in partnership with patient associations and the Siopi app, has just launched a large survey. Its final goal: to create a benchmark for good practices to support tinnitus in business.
After the study of the economic and social weighing of tinnitus, which made it possible to quantify their staggering cost, the Ana digs the question from a new angle: that of supporting the people concerned, in companies. The association underlines in particular the frequency of these symptoms and the increase in the risks of burn out. She therefore created a dedicated questionnaire, accessible in the Siopi app. The latter allows both mutual aid between people with tinnitus and the collection of anonymized data to advance research.
The survey hopes to collect the responses of more than 1,000 patients. She therefore calls for the participation of all good will to publicize the questionnaire. He asks about fifteen minutes. The EPPECAE study (evaluation of the support practices of tinnitus in business), which will result, is carried out with the support of the Foundation Listen to see and the support of the association’s committee of experts, piloted by Pr Jean-Luc Puel.
