A watchful monitoring of thunderstorms is in effect for the south and center of Quebec this Thursday, mainly during the afternoon and the evening.
Environnement Canada issued a watchful thunderstorm in the morning for various areas of the province, including Montérégie, Lanaudière, Laurentides and Bas-Saint-Laurent.
The meteorological opinion also extends to the sectors of the Capitale-Nationale, Mauricie, Estrie, Outaouais, Chaudière-Appalaches as well as Center-du-Québec.
“The conditions are conducive to the formation of violent thunderstorms that can produce strong gusts, large hail and strong rain,” said the Federal Agency. There is a sudden flood risk in places. ”
