The Vaud Council of State suspended the Municipal PrilliƩran Ihsan Kurt, in particular in charge of youth and social affairs, with immediate effect. A criminal complaint was filed against him and an administrative investigation was opened.
(Keystone-ATS) “This measure is linked to attitudes that are not eligible, as well as to inappropriate words,” announced the city of Prilly on Monday. The municipality had requested the suspension of the elected socialist in mid-May, “in order to guarantee the proper functioning of the municipal administration,” said the press release.
“This crucial decision was essential, in particular to preserve the physical and moral integrity of all of its collaborators, as well as members of the municipal authority”, specifies the city which wishes to make any comments on the content of the criminal action. The trustee Alain GilliĆØron and the vice-syndic Luigi Sartorelli resume his functions.
Contacted by Keystone-ATS, Ihsan Kurt has not wanted to react for the moment.
