The bill aimed at “Raise constraints to the exercise of the farmer profession”commonly called “DUPLOMB law”, will have accumulated the first. It was already the first legislative text to be the subject of a motion of rejection prior to the National Assembly carried not by its opponents, but by its supporters, who estimated the parliamentary debate paralyzed in advance by the large number of amendments deposited. The DUPLomb law is also the subject of the first citizen petition to have crossed, on Saturday July 19, the threshold of 500,000 signatures on the site of the National Assembly (and even more than a million Sunday, July 20), which could open the way to the holding of a public debate in the start of parliamentary school.
Initiated by a 23 -year -old student, Eléonore Pattery, this petition, which requires the repeal of the Duplo law has met with unprecedented success, spraying all previous records. Launched on July 10, two days after the final adoption of this text by the National Assembly, the initiative emerged outside the usual militant and associative circles. Eléonore Pattery, who does not wish to express himself in the media, explained on his social networks not affiliated to any party, but intends to denounce through this petition the“Scientific, ethical, environmental and health” aberration “ which, according to her, constitutes (and the million signatories) this law.
