The strongest in the heat wave will be felt in the afternoon in southern Quebec. Mainly affected: Montreal and its neighboring cities, to Drummondville, explains Environment Canada.
“To give an idea, in Montreal, it will make 33 degrees, and with the humidx index, it will be 40 degrees,” says Nicholas Elder, meteorologist at Environment Canada. Possible showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon are also expected.
The rest of the province will also be subject to high temperatures, but which remain for the moment below the heat warning criteria.
Environment Canada recalls that it is important to be attentive to signs of exhaustion due to heat, such as headache, nausea, dizziness, thirst, dark urine or intense fatigue. The organism recommends that he hydrates well and limit direct exposure to the sun.
