The words of an influential Christian pastor who has links with the Trump administration during an interview with the CNN network are strongly reacted, especially on social networks where extracts have been shared.

The pastor has published numerous books. publications on a blog in which he promotes the idea that the United States must adopt a Christian theocracy and adhere to a biblical interpretation of society.

In one of his books. he notably wrote “a woman receives, submits, accepts”: that “man enters, conquers, colonizes, sows” and that “a woman receives, submits, accepts”.

In addition to wishing a patriarchal society in which women are subject. he wants to make abortion illegal and maintains that homosexuality should be a crime.

Near the Trump administration

Douglas Wilson is part of a group of Christian religious leaders who gain influence with. conservative supporters of Donald Trump.

Some members of the Trump administration are among the followers of the pastor. including the defense secretary Pete Hegseth, according to CNN.

The latter would be a member of a church in Tennessee which would be part of the Douglas Wilson. network which is called the Communion of Reform Evangelical Churches (CREC).

Pete Hegseth also shared, on his X account, a video of the controversial interview from the Pastor to CNN.
