Bounkani region: the populations of Bouko and Danoa sensitized to energy efficiency

The populations of Bouko and Dano, (Bounkani Region) impacted by the Electricity and Digital Access Program in the North of Côte d’Ivoire (NEDA) have benefited from an awareness campaign on sexually transmitted infections (IST), HIV/AIDS, road safety, electrical risks and the promotion of energy efficiency on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Similarly, ETS MSSZ/ Schiba Energies. Meanwhile, Services work, which has benefited from the support of the Inter -African NGO for the promotion of health and human rights (IPSDH, represented by Léro Paul Evariste that this vast campaign was organized.

Its objective was to equip the populations. Furthermore, workers involved in the program, to a real awareness with a view to the adoption of responsible behavior, for the preservation of lives.

To this end, the awareness of the STIs bounkani region: populations bouko danoa and HIV/AIDS was led by the HIV community relays. They recalled the populations the modes of transmission. the importance of voluntary screening, as well as the use of condoms as a means of prevention. They also insisted on the fight against stigma. the need to support people living with HIV for better health and social follow -up.

Bouna’s regional transport directorate, for its part, has led an information session on road safety. The agents have focused on wearing helmet. belt of safety, respect for authorized speeds and the vigilance of pedestrians on the roads.

The Ivorian electricity company (CIE) has, for its part, instructed participants on the risks linked to poor electrical manipulations. It alerted to the dangers of anarchic connection. defective installations and the use of non -compliant devices, sources of electrocution and domestic fires. The populations were invited to adopt simple gestures. such as the extinction of unused lamps and bounkani region: populations bouko danoa devices, the use of low -consumption bulbs and the choice of economical household appliances.
