Gorgeous Elise Chabbey! The Geneva won 4e Edition of the Tour de Romandie Female Sunday in Aigle, finishing in the 3e Place of the last stage, won by Hungarian Blanka Vas.

Victorious of the 2e Step on Saturday at La Tzoumaz, Elise Chabbey counted eight seconds behind the yellow jersey Slovenian Urska Zigart at the start of this 3e And last step disputed around Eagle. A disbursement she has compensated thanks to a perfect end of race.

While the peloton had just caught up the last escapes 13 km from the finish, the 32 -year -old runner placed an attack in the rise of antagns, the last difficulty of the day. Accompanied by the Spanish Paula Blasi, she dug the gap in the descent while Zigart wasted time with a road trip which undoubtedly cost her the final victory.

The stage returned to Blanka Vas, who joined Blasi and Chabbey in the last straight line, but it is the Swiss that finished at the top of the general classification with seven seconds ahead of Zigart and ten on the Dutch Yara Kastelijn. The Geneva thus won a stage race for the first time in her career.
