Three armed suspects were arrested in extremis by the police service in the city of Lévis (SPVL) on Tuesday afternoon. The aim of being attacked a member of the Blood Family Mafia.
Around 4 p.m., citizens saw a man with a suspicious look go to the door of a residence on rue des Hydrages, in the Saint-Étienne-de-Lauzon sector.

Worried, the residents called on SPVL. Three men, including a minor, were stopped quickly when they were all on a vehicle. A loaded 9 mm pistol was found in the car.
Bound to BFM
The three suspects, including a minor, are all from the Montreal region. According to the spokesman François Fortin of the SPVL, they intended to attack a member of the Blood Family Mafia, but would have made mistakes on the address of this person.
“A relative of the BFM lived there, but he moved recently,” said Fortin.
The suspects remained held following their arrest and should appear at the Quebec courthouse during the day.
The trio faces accusations of criminal harassment, conspiracy, possession of a prohibited weapon, wearing a weapon in a dangerous design and disguise in a criminal design.
The police service of the city of Lévis maintains that there should not be other arrests related to this file at the moment.

According to the spokesperson for the municipal police force, the vigilance of the citizens played a crucial role in the course of the events.
“The three occupants of the car were dressed suspiciously and they were armed. It could have taken a completely different turn in the middle of the afternoon rush hour with a lot of traffic in the sector. We avoided gunshots or an altercation because we were able to stop them before, ”he argues.
