Under the terms of the agreement, Cenntro will provide assembly kits of Electricove vehicles, which will establish a local factory to assemble the brand’s models, including Teemak and LS450. The American manufacturer, whose headquarters are in Freehold, New Jersey, is also committed to providing technical documentation, assembly training and engineering support to help Electricove to develop its production capacities.

This partnership is expanding an already existing collaboration between the two companies. According to the press release, Electricove Maroc has already been a distribution partner of Cenntro for several years. Peter Wang, Cenntro Chairman and CEO, said on this subject: “Cenntro’s collaboration with Electricove Maroc is based on a long-standing relationship and represents an important step to support the deployment of electric vehicles in the region”.

The objective of this new step is to strengthen the presence of Cenntro, which designs and manufactures electric 1 to 4 electric trucks, on the North African market. The partnership thus allows the implementation of a localized production of its electric utility vehicles to better send the needs of the region.
