AS Monaco is happy to announce the arrival of Ansu Fati. The 22-year-old Spanish international striker is loaned by FC Barcelona for the 2025-2026 season, with purchase option.
Born in Bissau (Guinea-Bissau) on October 31, 2002, Ansu Fati grows in Spain (Andalusia), where he settled at the age of six. He started football at CDF Herrera, before going through Seville FC, then joining the Masia, the FC Barcelona training center in 2012.

Younger LDC scorer
He made his professional debut with Barça on August 25, 2019, at only 16 years old. Early talent, he quickly proven himself in La Liga and in the Champions League. On December 10, he scored the goal of victory against Inter Milan (2-1) and became, at 17 and 40 days old, the youngest scorer in the history of competition.

Second in Golden Boy in 2020
He concluded the 2019-2020 season with more than 30 games for 8 goals, and ranks second in the Golden Boy 2020, the trophy rewarding the best player under the age of 21 playing in Europe.
Under the colors of FC Barcelona, where he occupies several offensive positions – winger, attacking midfielder, attacker – he totaled 123 games (29 goals and 8 assists) and won two Spanish championships (2023 and 2025), two Cups of Spain (2021 and 2025) as well as two Spanish Super Cups (2023 and 2025).

In order to continue to get into it, Ansu Fati is loaned during the 2023-2024 season in Brighton & Hove Albion.
