Appearance of new Casio Edifice EFR-539de watches with three-dimensional telescope

Three new Casio Edifice EFR-539de watches appeared on the brand’s international site. They are described as large standard chronographs, with a prominent telescope, and are available in three colors.

Casio EDIFifice Watches EFR-539DE-2AV (BLEU), EFR-539DE-3AV (GREEN) and EFR-539DE-8AV (GRIS) are analog watches. Each has three needles for seconds, minutes and hours, the day of the month being displayed on the right side of the dial. The watch dial has three smaller graphics, linked to the time of timing at 1/10th of a second. This tool supports the following measurement methods: intermediate time, time elapsed, time from first to second place.

The case and the telescope are made of a combination of stainless steel and aluminum, and the bracelet is also made of stainless steel. They are said to be water resistant up to 100 m, and Casio estimates that the replaceable battery SR920SW has an autonomy of about two years. Each watch measures 54.1 x 49.5 x 11.7 mm (~ 2.1 x 1.9 x 0.5 inches) and weighs 184 g (~ 6.5 oz)

It is not yet known when the Casio Edifice EFR-539de watches will be marketed, or how much they will cost. While product lists on the company’s international website indicate an outing in July, it remains to be seen if or when they are launched in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom or the Netherlands.
