Apple could ultimately integrate a double job layer of protective protection to the screen of its iPhone 17 pro max.
Without quoting it, the specialized media Macrumors explains that a ” reliable source »Confirmed the integration – in the end – of a new protective glass plate for the screen of the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max.
The latter, which had been mentioned by the rumor a few months ago, seemed to have been stored by Apple for lack of sufficient performance for its large -scale production, with a view to integration into the new high -end iPhone.
However, we learn today that this protective layer project would have been brought back to life thanks to an improvement in these famous yields. This addition would have a double interest in the iPhone 17 Pro screen: more effectively limit its reflections, but also improve its resistance to scratches and unfortunate scratches.
Soon a “textured” screen equivalent for iPhone 17 Pro?
If this track is confirmed, the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max could therefore have (finally) a screen solid enough to really resist everyday clumsiness, and avoid (for example) users to have to add an in addition to a protective glass plate in addition.
Its anti-reflective dimension would also be a welcome addition. Apple has indeed focused in recent years on the tightening of its iPhone screens through technology Ceramic Shield… At the expense of anti-reflective efforts.
The iPhone cannot yet count on any optional “Nano textured” screen, contrary to what the latest MacBook Pro, the iPad Pro or even the Apple Studio Display monitor, offer to name a few.
For context, Samsung also offers a screen on its latest high -end smartphones Gorilla Glass Armor making it possible to reduce reflections by 75% and improve contrast in very bright environments. Apple might seem to want to be inspired by it.
