The Municipality of Vernayaz will be the scene of a unprecedented sound and light show on the occasion of the next national holiday. On July 31, he will have the Pissevache waterfall as an epicade, located in the village of Miéville.
The free show, lasting fifteen minutes, will be visible from 10:15 p.m. to midnight. This unique project, entitled “Waterfall”, will honor an original composition by Gauthier Dupertuis, director of the L’Echo du Trient and native fanfare of Vernayaz.
Inspired by the power and beauty of the waterfall, this work for wind orchestra, recorded by the Concordia of Friborg under the direction of Jean-Claude Kolly, will be broadcast at the very foot of the fall of 116 meters. Spectators will be able to live a sound and visual experience in harmony with the natural decor of the site.
Instead of fireworks
At the visual level, thanks to advanced technology and an innovative artistic approach, the waterfall, the surrounding forest and the rocks will be sublimated by light and video projections, offering the public a poetic and sensory rediscovery of the landscape.
This sound and light show will replace The traditional fireworks communal.
