A corpse had been found in a small seaside town in the Channel. An autopsy must take place.

GoogleMapsFriday morning, around 9 am, a walker discovered the lifeless body of a young woman, behind a barfleur church, a small town in the Channel.
The corpse reported TF1 this weekend, citing a source close to the investigation, “presented bruises”. “We do not know at all if the death is criminal or accidental,” he said.
The deceased spent a vacation with her Swiss boyfriend in a cottage in the town, according to several French media. The latter was heard Friday by the gendarmes. Then questioned the next day again on Saturday.
Is it suspected of anything? Was it under the police custody? None of that.
On Monday, “La Press de la Manche” reported on Monday, the Public Prosecutor of Cherbourg put the points on the I on the subject. “Contrary to what could have been written, his companion is not implicated, he was not present nearby at the time of death and had to be taken care of following the announcement of the death of his partner,” said Pierre-Yves Marot.
The Swiss, obviously in shock, therefore has nothing to do with the death of his partner. Which has since been formally identified: it is a 35 -year -old Brazilian.
On the other hand, the cause of his death remains a mystery for the moment. Accident or crime, the Public Prosecutor of Cherbourg stressed that no “hypothesis or track is privileged at this stage”. An autopsy must be carried out.
