The Hind Rajab Foundation, an anti-Israeli organization which continues TSAhal soldiers around the world, announced on Monday the arrest of two Israelis at the Tomorrowland festival in Belgium, following a complaint filed by him. According to the organization, the two men were interviewed and then released.
In a message published on its account X, the foundation claims that “two Israeli soldiers accused of war crimes in Gaza were arrested and questioned after a complaint filed by us in collaboration with the British Glan organization”.
This arrest follows the attempts of the Foundation to obtain the arrest of two TSAhal soldiers who had brandished a flag of the Givati brigade during the electronic music festival which took place in Belgium last weekend. The Palestinian organization based in Belgium accuses the two men of being responsible for “serious international crimes, including war crimes and a genocide in the Gaza Strip”.
In a press release published on its site, the Foundation said it has seized, in collaboration with the British organization GLAN, the Belgian prosecutor to request the arrest and the pursuit of the two soldiers “within the framework of the laws of universal judicial competence of Belgium”.
In addition, the organization revealed that it had filed an official criminal complaint last week to the Portuguese authorities against another Israeli young, identified a few days ago in Lisbon. The Foundation claims that the latter “took part in the Israeli genocidal campaign in Gaza”.
These actions are part of a broader strategy of international legal proceedings against Israeli soldiers, exploiting the universal justice mechanisms available in certain European countries.
