Benjamin Netanyahu claims not “wanting to govern in Gaza” … but has another idea behind the head

In an interview with Fox News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel wanted to “govern” or “keep” the Gaza Strip, while the army continues its operations on the territory.

Benjamin Netanyahu assured in an interview broadcast Thursday on Fox News that Israel “intended” to take control of the Gaza Strip, but “not to govern it”, while the Israeli media evoke a possible total conquest of Palestinian territory.

“We have the intention,” the Israeli Prime Minister replied to the question of whether his country intended to take control of this territory.

“We don’t want to keep (Gaza). We want to set up a security perimeter, but do not want to govern it, “said Benjamin Netanyahu, however.

“We want to take over to Arab forces that will govern properly without threatening and offering a pleasant life to the inhabitants of Gaza. This is not possible with Hamas, ”he continued.

This interview was broadcast on Fox News before the Israeli Prime Minister gathered his security firm on on Thursday to decide the follow-up of the war in the Palestinian territory, where the expected extension of military operations arouses the cries of alarm of hostage families and the reserves of the chief of staff of the army.

The Israeli army currently occupies or operates on the ground in almost 75 % of the Gaza Strip, mainly since its permanent positions in the territory along the border. She bombes wherever she deems it necessary.

The Civil Defense of Gaza reported Thursday about 35 people killed by Israeli strikes or fire.
