“When you read this message, I will have taken my last flight to the Champs d’Azur and unlimited stars,” said the mortuary opinion published on August 6 in the 24 -hour newspaper, which also publishes information in its Friday edition. The opinion is a small text signed by its only name. He died on July 30.
Corps commander Fernand Carll was chief of the air forces from 1992 to 1999, under the era of federal adviser Adolf Ogi. After studying engineering at the EPFL, he had obtained his militia military pilot certificate in 1959. He became a career military pilot at the age of 30.
Small controversy in 1997, Mr. Carll had received a verbal admonition from his minister of supervision. This had closed the file of two flight incidents in which he had been involved in 1996. The commander of the air forces had indeed raped twice, unintectigally, service prescriptions. A disciplinary investigation had been opened.
