DU stress less at the Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle boarding doors, this is one of the objectives of the partnership between Air France-KLM and the ADP group called Connect France, signed at the last Bourget fair. In this context, a first initiative has been implemented in recent weeks: the “short connection pass”, a device for prioritizing customers in transit, depending on the time they have to carry out their correspondence.
The protocol is activated as soon as this time, calculated according to the distance between the landing door and the boarding gate, waiting times at the Pif (safety) and the PAF (border), passes under a certain threshold. For the passenger, it is transparent and he has nothing to ask: no later than the arrival of the contribution flight to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, he receives an SMS and an e-mail indicating that because of the reduced period he has to join the boarding gate of his next flight, he is eligible for priority access to safety controls and the borders.

Practical case: when a time of correspondence exceeds the forty-five minutes for a correspondence between Toulouse and New York, with an arrival at the Terminal 2F and a departure of the 2nd hall K terminal, a priority treatment is automatically triggered for the passengers concerned, without these having any particular action to trigger.
Air France-KLM tickets and those of the companies of the Skyteam Alliance (Delta, Aeromexico, Garuda, Virgin Atlantic, SAS, etc.) are eligible for the “SHORT. Each day, Air France transports up to 140,000 customers, almost half of whom are in correspondence via its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub. On average, 600 of them benefit from the new device.
