After the filmed episodes of torture, criminal fires and repeated gunshots, it would seem that the Blood Family Mafia had an appetite for the bombs, according to the interrogation of an accused who would have acted as the grouping of the group.

This information comes from the interrogation notes of an investigating sergeant of the Sûreté du Québec and which were filed in evidence during the Bryan Lavoie release investigation in mid-June.
During this meeting held last April, a few days after his arrest following a search at his home, Bryan Lavoie said he was questioned about the “bomb wick” by two important BFM members.
These individuals are identified by the pseudonyms “Loko” and “Bandito”, but the first would be, according to the authorities, Édouard de Beaumont, considered to be high in the gang.
Édouard de Beaumont, 23, considered a relative of Dave “Pic” Turmel, of the Blood Family Mafia, was arrested in Quebec on April 15.

“The conversation ended up saying that it was better a military wick,” said the suspect.
Arsenal of techniques
We learn in the documents, first revealed by Radio-Canada, that Lavoie was questioned quite directly by the authorities on a supposed plan to “blow up a police station”.
Sources have indicated to Journal That there has never been a plan for such a shot, but that the Dave gang “Pic” Turmel did have an attraction for the explosives. This method would have been added to an arsenal of already well -stocked techniques and which has been a lot talked about the criminalized group for two years.
An informant adds that the BFM “acts clearly to try to stand out” and that such a desire to “stand out from the lot” would be surprising.
“It is a bit like their signature to show that they do not respect the rules,” analyzes this source.
“Pic” commands
As for Bryan Lavoie, he would have acted for a little less than six months like Armurier for the Blood Family Mafia when a search was led to his residence in Saint-Basile, in the Portneuf region.
A search took place in Saint-Basile, in Portneuf, in March 2025.

According to his declaration to the police officers filed as proof to his survey on release, Lavoie claims to have been forced by the group to hold a cache of weapons under the threat. As evidence has not yet been evaluated within the framework of a trial, Lavoie, which is represented by Me Gabriel Michaud-Brière, is still presumed innocent.
“I had to work for BFM 24 hours a day, seven days a week, otherwise BFM was going to attack me or my family,” explains Lavoie in his declaration to the police.
This is how he would have agreed to hide the searched arsenal on March 27, in addition to being responsible for “drops de guns», Or the delivery of weapons used for operations.
These “jobs” were ordered directly by the one who called himself “Capone” and who would be none other than Dave “Pic” Turmel, according to the authorities. The latter is still detained in Italy after his arrest last March.
«BFM motherfucker»
Lavoie would also have been responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of weapons. According to the evidence presented by the prosecutor to the file, Me François Doyon-Gascon, Bryan Lavoie was to send videos to Dave Turmel to demonstrate the proper functioning of weapons.

Proof in court
“In one of the videos, it is possible to hear a cry in the background” BFM Motherfucker “”, can be read in the summary of the facts filed in the file. The individual appearing at the video carries a hood and gloves like those found in Lavoie.
The latter would have received $ 1,500 per month from the group for its services.
Conversations found in cells seized by the police show that Lavoie and his spouse, Alexia-Eugénie salient, were nicknamed “Fantom” and “Viper”. The young woman, also accused, was able to recover her freedom under conditions.
Judge Mario Tremblay, however, ordered Lavoie’s detention, who will return to court next September.
