The default values, those imposed when there is missing information will now be less penalizing. Real energy consumption will also be taken into account, and more only theoretical consumption. Concretely: invoices will be used in the new calculation. Data that can make an important difference, since a single person does not consume in the same way as a large family. In addition, not everyone heats up their home at the same temperature in winter.
Another big change, the certifier – which delivers the PEB – also becomes an advisor. This means that he will give advice on the work to be carried out. He will also take care of condominiums to avoid too marked differences in the same building. According to Alain Maron, Brussels Minister in charge of the climate transition, “The certificate will become a real instrument to guide decarbonization“.
On the other hand, renovation bonuses no longer exist, but the Brussels government also adopted a social plan climate on Thursday, always indicate our colleagues in the evening. It provides specific aid for the most precarious people. The goal is to mitigate the effects of the future increase in prices of fossil fuels provided by Europe. Two cumulative aids are included in particular. The first concerns a complete pre -financing for certain works carried out in energy coats. The second is the establishment of the zero rate for the Ecoreno loan.
