Placed in each of the 12 departments of our region, the Territorial Health Council (CTS):
- ensures the specificity of local health systems and procedures based on the participation of the inhabitants,
- contributes to the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the regional health project, in particular on the provisions concerning the organization of health courses,
- is informed of the creations of coordination support systems (DAC) and regional specific devices, as well as the signing of territorial and health contracts and contributes to their follow -up,
- participate in the evaluation of territorial health projects.
The CTS is made up of at least 34 members and at most of 50 members with deliberative voice. These members are distributed in several colleges allowing the representation of the following categories: professionals and providers of health services, users and associations of users, local authorities, social security organizations and qualified personalities.
Each CTS consists of a plenary assembly, an office, a mental health commission and specific training organizing the expression of users.
It is specified that attendance and active participation in the work of the CTS and its various training courses are expected. The mandate is exercised free of charge. Travel costs are covered according to terms which will be specified to the members.
