Support authors of the region in their project. This is what the Intercantonal Commission for Literature of the Cantons of Bern, Jura and Neuchâtel (Cili Bejune) proposes on Tuesday. Three scholarships with 15,000 francs each are put in the competition. Only the authors who maintain regular links by their artistic activity with at least one of the three cantons and those who are domiciled there can submit a file. Applicants must also be professionally active in the field of literature as well as having published at least one book in a publishing house recognized to be eligible.
The projects proposed must be in progress at the time of the request and all genres are accepted. The work must, in principle, be carried out in French. The files are to be submitted online on the electronic portal of requests from the Culture Office of the Canton of Bern until October 20, 2025.
