For the first two groups, Canal+ must send a paper or digital form by mid-July. Additionally, The compensation varies from 20 to 75 € depending on the duration of the subscription and the estimated financial impact. It will be enough to fill it and send it back, often via a provided E envelope.
For former customers who have terminated before May 2020. the process is proactive: you must send a letter or an e-mail to Canal+ (contact details below), by attaching to the minimum:
- A proof of channel+ levy between February 2018 and May 2020,
- the old subscriber number (if possible),
- A current address to receive compensation.
If you are a former CANAL+ customer who has terminated before May 31, 2020, you canal+ reimburses up 75 €: will not receive any automatic form. It is up to you to send a request accompanied by your supporting documents. Here is the official address communicated by the UFC-Que Choisir:

In both cases. remember to include your name, first name and current address, your old subscriber number (if you have it) and at least a proof of direct debit (bank statement, invoice, etc.) proving that you were subscribed between February 2018 and May 2020.
The deadline to claim is set for December 31, 2025. Finally, accepting compensation is worth renunciation of any future prosecution on this file.
