The transfer window is far from finished on the side of Charleroi. And it is not the Director General Pierre-Yves Hendrickx who will say the opposite. He spoke to our colleagues from RTBF.
“Yes, there will still be players who will leave and yes, there will still be players who will arrive,” he said. “We left until September 8 so we have more than a month.” The current workforce is not frozen.
More departures than arrivals?
With four official matches this season, Rik de Mil has a better vision of needs. “We have to analyze that with the coach … What positions to strengthen, and where we may have too many players, especially in central defense for example.”
No question of accumulating transfers without logic. “If no one leaves, I will not say that no one comes, but unless an opportunity will be an output for an entry,” said Hendrickx.
The coach wishes to double each position, some are even tripled. “You have to make room to bring new players to enter, that’s for sure.” In Charleroi, the final stretch of the transfer window promises to be animated…
