Two knife fights took place on Sunday in Zurich, first in the 7th arrondissement, then in the 6th. Two people were injured. In both cases, the police were able to arrest the alleged perpetrators.

Shortly before 4:00 am, the Zurich municipal police intervention center was informed that a man was injured in the stabbing after an argument, according to a municipal police statement published on Sunday evening.
On the spot, the intervention forces met a 22 -year -old Eritrean who presented several knife wounds on the body. He was transported to hospital. Police were able to arrest the alleged perpetrator, an 18 -year -old Afghan. The exact course of the facts as well as the context of the act are not clear at the moment.
Shortly before 12 noon, the intervention forces of the municipal police of Zurich then went to the 6th arrondissement, following an emergency call. On the spot, they found a 53 -year -old Portuguese injured in the neck by a stab. She was transported to hospital.
The alleged perpetrator, a 44 -year -old Portuguese, was able to be arrested on the spot. The exact course of the facts and the context of the crime are not clear either.
