In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. Consequently, regional unions of health professionals (URPS) Biologists, liberal doctors and midwives, in partnership with the support center for the prevention of infections associated with Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur care (CPIAS PACA) and the Regional Support Center for the Prevention of Infections associated with care and the fight against multi-resistant bacteria Antibiotic (Cratb) PACA, launch the campaign “Urinary bacterial cystitis – resistances II” (CBU Resist II).
This initiative aims to raise awareness among the general public. Furthermore, in particular women, as well as the medical community, of the importance of a reasoned prescription of antibiotics in the treatment of urinary tract infections, in particular cystitis.
Touching nearly two in three women during their lives. cystitis is often treated by prescribed antibiotics without appropriate exams, which promotes the appearance of bacterial resistance.
This phenomenon of antibiotic resistance complicates the management cystitis: launch regional campaign combat of infections, making them longer and sometimes more serious.

The PACA region. which displays a rate of consumption of antibiotics higher than the national average, thus wishes to change practices and improve the quality of care.
For this. the campaign deploys several educational media: an animated film intended for the general public recalling the right reflexes, posters with QR Codes for the care places, as well as specific recommendations for prescribers and professionals in charge of urinary samples.
These tools are disseminated to professionals and relayed via social networks to reach a large audience.
