With the heat wave that peaks on Saturday throughout France, especially in the west of the country, the Minister of Health Yannick Neuder called on Saturday the French to hydrate and moderate their alcohol consumption.
“Tonight, there will be the music party, you have to moderate your alcohol consumption, especially when it is hot,” he said during a trip to Henri-Mondor Hospital in Créteil (Val-de-Marne).
Traditional music, rap, techno, classic … This year again, for the 44th music festival, all genres will be in the spotlight, in bars, streets, parks and gardens around the country.
Presented as the highlight of this edition, a free concert is organized in the Louvre gardens, where the Olympic basin will rise in the sky on an unprecedented version of a tube by Daniel Balavoine.
Forty years after its release, “saving love”, signed by one of the figures of French song, is preparing to be reborn in an electro version concocted by the composer Victor Le Masne, musical director of the Ceremonies of the Paris Games in 2024.
A big concert
This song, also intended for streaming platforms, must accompany the first elevation of the basin at 10:11 pm, scheduled each evening until September 14 at the Tuileries.
The concert, which will start at 9:00 p.m., brings together 21 artists including Abd Al Malik, Alex Montembault (“Starmania”), Bernard Lavilliers, Jeanne Added, Kalash, the La Femme group or the young Talents Solann, Max Baby and Marine, winner of the last season of the Star Academy.
The program also includes artists at the International Echo, such as singer Camille, anicarized with her partner Clément Ducol for the music of the film “Emilia Perez” by Jacques Audiard, Christine and the Queens, artistic project of Rahim Redcar who seduced the American public, or the trio of Djs Major Lazer, with their planetary card “Lean On”.
About 35,000 spectators are expected at the event, broadcast on France 2.
