(Alliance News) – The main European financial centers are preparing to open the week in positive territory, thus marking a timid recovery after the wave of massive sales which marked the previous week.
The spotlights remain on the commercial customs duties imposed by American president Donald Trump, who continue to fuel concerns about global growth, despite recent agreements signed with the European Union and the United Kingdom.
In terms of businesses, the quarterly results season continues, although the publication calendar is less dense.
The FTSE MIB, which had closed down 2.6 % to 39,942.82 points, now displays an increase of 112.50 points.
Among the secondary indices on Friday, the mid-cap fell 1.6 % to 54,228.66, the Small-Cap dropped by 0.8 % to 32,229.49 and Italia Growth finished the session from 0.5 % to 8,197.23 points.
The Parisian CAC 40 is expected to increase by 32.40 points, the Dax of Frankfurt should increase by 64.40 points, while the FTSE 100 of London is indicated up 28.50 points.
On the MIB, Friday evening, less than ten companies finished the session in the green. Campari distinguished itself with an increase of 8.0 % to EUR 6.542 per share, after the publication of half -yearly results showing a turnover slightly increased by 0.3 % to 1.53 billion euros against 1.52 billion previously.
Inwit also benefited from good purchases, up 1.2 %, brought by a clear increase in turnover and profits in the first half.
Diasorini and Recordati, who both saw their accounts progress over the first six months of the year, are among the best performances, closing up 0.6 % each.
A2A (+0.6 %) and ERG (+1.2 %) signed an electricity purchase contract (Power Purchase Agreement) lasting 15 years, from January 1, 2027, for the supply of around 2.7 TWh of renewable energy from wind power.
Eni will not ultimately prove the cross -border merger by incorporation of Eni España Comercalizadora de Gas “because of the evolution of the context in relation to the economic model”. The title fell 1.4 % to EUR 14.70.
In the banking sector, the extraordinary assembly of Mediobanca – down 2.6 % – for the OPA launched on Banca Generali, also in 2.6 % withdrawal, will be held on August 21. A month of August which promises to be animated.
FineCobank signs the worst performance of the day, in a fall of 5.8 %, while Intea Sanpaolo, which granted funding of EUR 500,000 to Execus, ended 5.6 %.
Saipem fell 4.7 %.
On the mid-cap, ENAV closed up 5.5 % despite an annual drop of 70 % of its profits, but with optimistic prospects.
CIR finished at the tail of the peloton with a fall of 7.4 % to 0.626 EUR per share. The decline in profits and turnover in the first half has discouraged investors.
Wiit jumped 3.3 % to EUR 16.14 per share.
Carel Industries, which made a semi -annual net profit of 26.5 million euros, down slightly compared to the 27.8 million to June 30, 2024, however lost 6.7 %.
Salvatore Ferragamo, weighed down by half -yearly accounts in red and a turnover in withdrawal, finished down 1.4 %.
On the Small-Cap, Met. Extra Group rebounded with an increase of more than 10 %.
Safilo, which has risen among the strongest increases with a gain of 12 %, closed the semester on an increase of 39 % of its profits, at 33.7 million euros.
Biesse had to cash in significant losses and a drop in turnover from January to June. The title fell 1.4 %.
AEFFE also displays accounts in the red, with a marked withdrawal of 28 % of income from last year. The arrival of the board of directors of Marco Gobetti, ex-CEO of Moschino and Salvatore Ferragamo, arouses waiting. The title sold 5.1 %.
Banca Sistema’s strong half -yearly growth did not translate into purchases and the title ended up 1.3 %.
Cairo Communication lost 2.0 % despite a positive net profit of 20.4 million euros, compared to 20.3 million over the same period in 2024.
The worst performance of the day returns to Dovalue, down 6.4 %.
On Italia Growth, Braga Moro continued his series of increases with a 49 %jump.
The Convergenze title experienced a good activity during the day but finished stable at EUR 1.89, after the announcement of an increase in turnover and the volumes of energy sold in the semester.
The Government Green Light in ICOP for the acquisition of 62 % of Pallingeo actions was variously welcomed: ICOP increased by 1.0 % and Palinggeo fell by 0.3 %.
Friday, INTRED announced that it had registered a turnover of 27.8 million euros in the first half, with organic growth of 7.8 %. The overall turnover increased by 0.9 % over a year. The title fell by 1.3 %.
Mondo TV France increased by 13 %, while Spinodox, which has just concluded an agreement with Progressio for an entry to capital, jumped 6.8 %.
In New York, the Dow Jones closed down 1.2 %, the NASDAQ fell 2.2 %and the S&P500 sold 1.6 %.
In Asia, Hang Seng increased by 0.6 %, the Shanghai Composite gained 0.4 %, while the Nikkei fell by 1.2 %.
On the foreign exchange market, the euro is exchanged at USD 1.1578 against USD 1.1553 at the end of Friday, while the pound sterling is negotiated at USD 1.3284 against USD 1,3261 on Friday evening.
On the raw materials side, the Brent is exchanged at 69.79 USD against 69.66 USD per barrel at the previous fence, while gold is worth 3,58.11 USD against 3,343.8 USD on Friday evening.
On the economic calendar on Monday, at 9:00 am, this will be paid to registration of French cars and, in parallel, on the publication of data from the Spanish unemployment rate.
At 10:30 am, it is, the morale of investors in the euro zone will be scrutinized. From 3:00 p.m., this is the awards of French BTF to three, six and twelve months will take place.
On the Milan Stock Exchange, the semi -annual results of Anima Holding, Caltagirone and Wiit are expected in particular.
