The announcement of the opening of this first store rocked social networks. All products will finally be gathered in the same place.
After years of waiting, the dream of followers of this great French brand has finally become reality. Until today, the 130 drinks developed by the brand were sold separately in supermarket. But since the end of June, the company born in Bourges has finally offered all of its 7 ranges and its 20 different formats in a single store.
Anise, banana, spices, papa beard, brownie or even cinnamon rolled and grilled marshmallows, all the scents of syrups imagined and developed by the French company Monin are finally gathered in a brand new shop. In the brand called Le Comptoir, each bottle of syrup is sold individually. Do not worry, prices are not inflated to those found on the brand’s website or in supermarkets. On site, the cheapest syrups are sold for € 5.20. This concerns blackcurrant flavors, strawberry wood or chocolate. Agave syrup, the most expensive in the range, costs € 10.80.
But that’s not all! Cassis, pear, strawberry, mango, jabiticaba, rhubarb, raspberry, blueberry, mandarin, yuzu, passion fruit, coconut … The new shop also offers most of its purees. A large number of sauces, liqueurs (alcoholic or not) and mini versions are also available in stores. Blind riddle workshops and a syrups bar were also installed in the premises for a more immersive experience, the brand explains. Tastings, masterclasses and entertainment will be offered throughout the year.
Unfortunately, most of the followers of sugary drinks will have to travel several hundred kilometers at the end to be able to discover the new facilities. The Comptoir de Monin is indeed installed on rue du Bourg l’Abbé in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. On the timetable side, the store is open Tuesday to Saturday, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Paris is not really the only French city to welcome a shop dedicated to Monin products. In Bourges, a hometown of the company, another point of sale was inaugurated in 2022. But this is not an independent shop like that installed in the capital, but rather a show-room attached to the Villa Monin. This space brings together a bar-restaurant, workshops, a museum and the Monin event space.
