Asus announced the launch of two laptops, the expert book P3405CVA and the P3605CVA, equipped with an Intel Core i5-13420H processor Intel Core i5-13420H and an Intel Core i7-13620Hespectively. They both have a 14 -inch (P3405) and 16 -inch (P3605) screen (P3605), with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200. The screen only covers 45 % of the NTSC colorimetric space and the brightness is specified at 300 cd/m². Each model is delivered with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, extendable up to 64 GB. An SSD in M.2 2280 format with a capacity of 512 GB is installed, while a second SSD M.2 2230 can be installed to facilitate the extension of the storage.
The provision of ports is the same on the two models: there are two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports. Image output is possible via HDMI 2.1. For connectivity, Ethernet, Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 are supported. The 63 Wh battery can be recharged via USB-C with a power of 65 watts, eliminating the need for a dedicated power adapter. The largest model weighs 1.75 kg and the 14 inch 1.36 kg model. Finally, the two models are certified MIL-STD 810H, ensuring protection against extreme temperatures, rain, shocks, humidity and more.
