The father found his son’s murderer and shomed him in the heart.
Tuesday morning, in the commune of Rocca Di Papa, south of Rome, Guglielmo Palozzi, a 62 -year -old garbage man, killed Franco Lollobrigida, the man accused of having killed his son Giuliano five years earlier. According to the Italian newspaper Corriere della Serathe sixty -something man waited for the man at the exit of a public park before approaching him.
A few words exchanged, then he released a revolver and shot in the back of Franco Lollobrigida, who was trying to escape. The ball would have reached the heart. Despite the rapid rescue intervention, the victim died on the spot.
Giuliano Palozzi, 34, had been violently to tobacco for a debt of only 25 euros. After five months in a coma, he died in June 2020.
Franco Lollobrigida was first acquitted at first instance, then sentenced on appeal to ten years in prison for “aggravated manslaughter” in May 2024. But a last appeal to the Court of Cassation had allowed his release, tried “Too fast” par guglielmo paloes.
Arrested shortly after the facts, he was charged for “voluntary homicide“.
For his part, Franco Lollobrigida had always said innocent of the death of Giuliano, but in 2023, had admitted to having struck him. According to him, the passage to tobacco had been committed by other people.
