A large fire is underway in the Brocéliande forest, Route de Concoret, in the Tréhorenteuc-Le Val sector without return, between Campénéac and Loyat (56), an area already affected by fires in 2022 and currently very busy by tourists.
200 firefighters mobilized and two water bombers
An important device has been deployed with four forest fire groups from the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Morbihan and two from the Sdis of Ille-et-Vilaine.
200 firefighters are mobilized to control the fire. They are supported by the civil security helicopter, Dragon 56 and farmers go there to help them.
Two water bombers are headed for Vannes airport.
30 hectares would have already gone up in smoke and a hundred would be threatened.
The fire that would have left at the limit of Morbihan and Ille and Vilaine heads towards Morbihan.
The plume of smoke is visible several tens of kilometers and the RN24 Lorient-Vannes. The Ploërmel gendarmerie is on site. Access to Tréhorenteuc is crossed out.
