For radios, the approach of the long holidays is synonymous with change of their programs, with the integration of content (stories, series, podcasts) conducive to relaxation, escape and discovery. Information meetings, games and music are also on the menu.
France Inter opens the ball
The most listened to France is the first to pass its grids at summer time, on Saturday June 28 – but the programs are disrupted due to a strike movement. That day, the auditors of France Inter find one of their usual meetings of the summer, “Mousse-Mousse”led by David Castello-Lopes, and discover two new programs: “History of voice”a series of public public media which explores the human voice, and “Rap hour”where journalist Mehdi Maïzi paints the portrait of nine major figures in rap.
Other new features will garnish the summer grids of France Inter, from Monday to Friday: for example “Sentimental heat wave”hosted by Marine Leonardi and Jesse, as well as “The Mag of the Summer”which will be led by Marie Misset in July and Constance Vilanova in August. Many podcasts produced during the year become summer emissions: “Faced with history” by Philippe Collin, and “The code has changed” From Xavier de la Porte, among others. In addition, throughout the summer, the radio will embark its listeners at the heart of the biggest festivals (the Francofolies de La Rochelle, Eurockéennes, jazz in Vienna, …) with special shows and evenings.
RTL follows
On the side of RTL, which dominates the media transfer window, the passage to summer time will take place on Monday, June 30. To support its audience throughout the summer, the radio focuses on games, with “The good touch of summer”hosted by Jean-Michel Zecca then Bérénice Bourgueil, and ” Up to you “hosted by Peggy Broche.
