The Direct of the France Info channel was restored this Saturday morning around 10:00 am, after a technical breakdown in the night, affecting the broadcast of all the channels of the public group.
An important technical incident briefly interrupted the broadcast of France Télévisions channels on the night of Friday to Saturday. France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5 and France Info were impacted by a breakdown in midnight around midnight, caused by a failure of the room air conditioning system housing the diffusion servers.
“A major breakdown of the room air conditioning system hosting channel diffusion servers […] caused […] An interruption of the planned programs, ”said France Télévisions. If the programs were able to quickly resume on the main linear channels, the news channel continues France Info saw its signal live suspended for almost ten hours.
The group specifies that this prolonged interruption on France Info is explained by material damage that occurred “in the chain production management”, making it impossible to resume live flow.
France Télévisions apologized to all of its viewers for this exceptional interruption.
