A breakthrough occurred in the conflict relating to technicians in medical radiology (TRM) in Friborg. The Council of State authorizes the access of 28 of them to the function of specialized therapists (TTS). The agreement follows their February strike.
(Keystone-ATS) The government accepted the proposals discussed between the Friborg Hospital (HFR) and the representatives of the TRM, relating to the terms of access to the function of TSS for some of the TRMs of the HFR, he said on Friday in a press release. Started in March, the meetings made it possible to define the contours.
TRMs must be for the benefit of additional training and assume additional responsibilities, in particular in the field of technical coordination, supervision and support for the operational driving of the teams. The TTS function will consequently concern 28 TRM, or 26% of the TRM of the HFR.
Internal competition
The new system will strengthen the supervision “permanently”, while ensuring a tangible professional recognition for the persons concerned, allowing them to pass a class 17 to a class 18 from the state treatment scale. The 28 positions will be put exclusively in the internal competition.
The idea here consists in promoting the TRM already in office at the HFR. No new position is therefore created. The Council of State praised, at the end of the weekly session, the “constructive” spirit in which the discussions took place between the parties concerned. An observation shared by the Union of Public Services (SSP).
Not finished mobilization
According to the SSP, this is a “first concrete result, the fruit of the six -day strike led by TRM between February 3 and 10. Beyond that, the mobilization of TRM and the SSP will continue to obtain the expansion of the salary class 18 to all the professionals concerned, promises the union.
With the aim of canceling the points evaluation carried out by an assessment commission (CEF), the composition of which did not comply with the law, said the SSP in its press release.
