Galaxy S26 Ultra: Two new Samsung shock ideas to improve the Galaxy S25 Ultra

While we recently mentioned the 6 big changes envisaged for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, things are always becoming more for Samsung’s next premium model. Between much more efficient photo sensor and ever faster recharge, the company would have two key new features to stand out from its current model, already excellent.

Night photos and load speed in the spotlight on the Galaxy S26 Ultra

Let’s start with the photo part. The famous Ice Universe shared very good news for the main sensor of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Although it is the same objective isocell HP2 as on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, S24 Ultra and S25 Ultra, Samsung would have decided to improve the amount of light captured.

For this, the opening would be larger: f/1.4 instead of f/1.7. The informant admits quite confident on the subject, adding that the information is “Confirmed”. He thus specifies that “The quantity of light entering the camera is increased by 47 % compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra sensor”.

According to him, it would be “The greatest improvement in image quality in recent years”. This would obviously not be felt in all use cases, but rather in low light conditions. Night photos should thus be drastically improved with the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The other rumor of the day also comes fromIce Universebut this time concerns the fast charge. While we had already heard of the arrival of a load power of 60 W instead of the traditional 45 W, the disclosure adds interesting information on the load speed: a 0 to 75 % or 80 % in just 30 minutes, against an hour earlier on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

In another publication, he specifies that this official data is “Quite conservative”suggesting that half an hour would ultimately reach almost the 90 % load.

These two improvements should thus allow the Galaxy S26 Ultra to confirm its reference status on the premium segment, by offering a photo experience and a significantly improved autonomy.
