A sexagenarian dies in Port-Chiseul
The 65 -year -old man died while he was bathed in the lake. A police intervention is underway. The circumstances of drowning are not known.
The drama took place on Sunday at Port-Choiseul beach, in Versoix, next to the eponymous port (illustration image).

A drama took place at the end of the afternoon in Port-Choiseul, in Versoix. A sixty -something man lost his life when he was swimming in the lake. “We were notified of the death at 4 p.m.,” says Aline Dard, spokesperson for the Geneva police.
“Children have reported the presence of a man in the water, then people took it out,” said a witness.
A police intervention is still underway on site to determine the circumstances of this drama. A white tent has been drawn up and a medical examiner is also present on the scene.
