The Bordeaux delegation
Around 11 a.m., the Bordeaux businessman was in Paris, at the headquarters of the FFF, for the hearing in front of the DNCG. He was not alone: he was accompanied by Arnaud Saint-André (director general of the club) and Laurent Cotret, the lawyer of the Girondins.
But the suspense was relatively low after the favorable decision of the Commercial Court. That said, some twists and turns remain possible regarding creditors. Several clubs could appeal this decision, not being satisfied with the reimbursement conditions. Such action would lead them to turn to FIFA, as specified in the site the team.
However, the latter does not have the reputation of being tender in terms of non-payments linked to transfers, and does not hesitate to sanction the faulty clubs, in particular by recruitment prohibitions.
As a reminder, several clubs, such as Amiens, Lille, Guingamp, Dinamo Batumi, Gijón and others, will only receive 10 % of allowances still due by the Girondins. These clubs have ten days to call.
