A new national airline
After IBC Airways, carried by the ambition to diversify the national offer, Haiti is preparing to host a new Haitian national airline. “Trogon Airways” which will connect the main urban centers of the country: Port-au-Prince, Cap-Haitien and Les Cayes. On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, Ernst Étienne, the director of the new airline made a visit to Simon des Cayes Antoine Airport, in order to launch the process of installing the company’s offices. RD: The US Embassy no longer delivers B1/B2 visa to Haitians
The Haiti Embassy in the Dominican Republic informs that the Embassy of the United States has made the decision not to accept category B1/B2 visa requests (which mainly cover business and tourism stays) in favor of Haitian nationals, whether they are holders of diplomatic, official or regular passport. This decision follows the promulgation of the new law “restricting the entry into its territory of nationals of certain countries including Haitians, in order to protect the United States from foreign terrorists and other national security threats …”
Studies for new cities:
During the 18ᵉ edition of the Tuesdays of the Nation, Ketleen Florestal, the Minister of Planning and External Cooperation insisted on the need for better structured regional planning, announcing studies for the creation of new cities with modern standards.

PNH: donation of equipment to the BOID
