Present on the podcast of his mother Tish “Sorry We’re Cyrus”, Miley Cyrus revealed that his father Billy Ray smoked grass on the set of the sitcom “Hannah Montana”.
Asked about his favorite anecdote, Miley said: “Dad smoked grass and everyone blamed me for that. It’s hilarious … he didn’t share because Tish did not smoke yet”.
Tish revealed that she did not think that Billy Ray, of whom she divorced in 2023, was responsible at the time.
“They called me to tell me that Billy Ray smoked grass, and I told them ‘absolutely not, he would never do that. It’s Mitchel Musso!” She remembered.
Miley added: “Well, it was Mitchel. It was Mitchel Musso! It was both”.
However, Mitchel, who played Oliver in the series, does not have the same memory of the incident.
In a statement to E! News, the actor replied: “This is not how I remember it. However, I have lots of stories of those years that deserve to be discussed. If we revisit the story of Hannah Montana, just say it. I send all my love to Miley and his family … even when the rewritings become also creative.”
